The Mysterious Knitting Class!
Join us for a 3 session book club where you will also learn to knit! Centered around the mystery novel "Knit one, Kill Two" we'll gather to chat about our thoughts on 'whodunit' WHILE we learn to knit!!
Already know how to knit? No problem! We will have a beginner friendly pattern to follow along with, and an intermediate knitting project for everyone that's already beyond the basics.
This event will be broken up into 3 sessions. The first session we'll cast on and learn to knit and purl. Second session we'll be working on our project, while chatting about the book. Third session we'll be wrapping up our projects, learning to cast off, and giving our final thoughts on this yarn of a tale (see what I did there....)
If you are a beginner knitter, you'll have so much fun practicing the basics making a single color book sleeve using Cascade Pacific! (If you have a color preference please leave a note in checkout, email us, or come in the store to pick it out)
If you already know the basics, we have an intermediate option just for you! You'll also be making a book sleeve, but you'll be practicing stranded colorwork to complete your project! This will require an additional ball of yarn, so please come in the store to purchase the second skein of yarn separately. You will receive a 10% discount on the extra yarn for this class.
