Mochimochiland - Tiny Knitting Kit - Computer Cat (Surprise Color)

Got emails to send? Procrastinate by knitting a cat who knows what a laptop is really for. (Keeping your bum warm!)

This kit comes with hand-dyed fingering-weight yarn and polyester stuffing to knit a tiny, fuzzy cat in a surprise color and a computer for her to flop carelessly onto.

Featuring Lion’s Mane Suri Lace (74% baby alpaca/26% silk) hand-dyed by Gnome Depot Fiber right here in Chicago. Also included is Cascade Heritage (75% superwash merino wool/25% nylon) in Charcoal and Real Black.

You’ll need to supply a set of size 1 DPNs and a small tapestry needle.

The cat is a quick, seamless knit.

The computer is worked flat and seamed, with stiff paper inserted for structure—you can use the bobbins that come with the kit for this. The pattern includes five BONUS intarsia colorwork screen options, plus three templates for you to design your own screen graphic!

Packaged in a reusable plastic zip pouch. May include upcycled post-consumer cardboard bobbins.

Computer Cat is modeled after a cat that appears in Anna’s picture book Catside Up, Catside Down: A Book of Prepositions, published in 2023 by Feiwel and Friends. It makes a terrific gift to go with the book!

NOTE: The finished project is very small and is not suitable for small children.

Made in Chicago, USA!
