Punching is an embroidery technique where you can use a punch needle to create unique (home) décor items with flat stitches or loops or a combination thereof. The flat stitches will appear at the front of the work while punching, while the loops at the back. Making stitches on both the front and back in the same project will create a unique result with different textures. The punch technique can be used to decorate bags or cushion covers, for example.
